The Parlament of#nbsp;Russia approved the law on#nbsp;changes to#nbsp;the procedure for applying VAT in#nbsp;international transportation.
From April 1, 2025, electronic document registers must be#nbsp;used to#nbsp;confirm the zero VAT rate when providing forwarding services in#nbsp;railway transport.
From July 1, 2024, the procedure for applying the 0% VAT rate when providing services for the international transportation of#nbsp;goods (as#nbsp;well as#nbsp;freight forwarding services) on#nbsp;the Russian section of#nbsp;transportation will change: in#nbsp;cases specified by#nbsp;law, instead of#nbsp;a#nbsp;0% rate, a#nbsp;20% rate will be#nbsp;applied, even if#nbsp;The goods are subject to#nbsp;international transportation.
