Russia has defined a list of services that will be free from currency repatriation

The Russian Federation’s Government has defined a list of services so that the companies providing them do not have to repatriate foreign currency earnings.

This list includes: software development, data processing, provision of information placement services and related activities, and higher education. It also includes services performed by the subcontractor in the production of computers and peripheral devices, as well as communication equipment.

In addition, companies do not need to repatriate foreign currency earnings if they provide licenses on using computer software.
