To open a business in Russia online will be possible from March 1, 2024

It#nbsp;will be#nbsp;possible to#nbsp;remotely submit documents to#nbsp;the Federal Tax Service of#nbsp;Russia for state registration, issue an#nbsp;e-signature, and open a#nbsp;bank account.

On#nbsp;March 1, 2024, the Start a#nbsp;Business Online experiment starts. The Federal Tax Service of#nbsp;Russia coordinates#nbsp;it. The experiment will last until March 1, 2025.

A#nbsp;decree of#nbsp;the Government of#nbsp;Russia dated No.144 of#nbsp;13.02.2024 approved the Regulations, which establish the procedure for experimenting with providing a#nbsp;comprehensive service for state registration of#nbsp;legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, issuing an#nbsp;e-signature of#nbsp;a#nbsp;legal entity and individual entrepreneurs, opening a#nbsp;bank account and concluding a#nbsp;remote banking service agreement. Individuals who register as#nbsp;individual entrepreneurs, as#nbsp;well as#nbsp;those who decide to#nbsp;create an#nbsp;LLC with a#nbsp;single founder and general director, will be#nbsp;able to#nbsp;participate in#nbsp;the experiment voluntarily.

The applicant must select the bank in#nbsp;which he#nbsp;will open an#nbsp;account, then agree to#nbsp;the remote issuance of#nbsp;an#nbsp;e-signature and send documents for registering a#nbsp;business and opening an#nbsp;account through the electronic services of#nbsp;the Federal Tax Service of#nbsp;Russia or#nbsp;the service of#nbsp;the bank participating in#nbsp;the experiment.
