New regulations on conducting inspections have come into force.

• Contact (control purchase; monitoring purchase; selective control; inspection visit; raid inspection; documentary verification; on-site inspection);
• Contactless (monitoring compliance with mandatory requirements; on-site inspection);
• Preventive measures (informing; generalization of law enforcement practice; measures to stimulate consciousness; declaration of caution; consulting; self-examination; preventive visit).

The regulation on the type of control establishes specific contact control measures carried out within the framework of a particular kind of control and a list of permissible actions as part of each control event. Control measures without interaction do not require additional indication in the regulation on the type of control for their implementation. The types of preventive measures carried out are also determined by the regulation on the type of control (some of them are mandatory).

• environmental control (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation N 1096 dd 30.06.2021);
• sanitary and epidemiological control (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation N 1100 dd 30.06.2021);
• in the field of consumer rights protection (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation N 1005 dd 25.06.2021);
• in connection with the dissemination of information in telecommunications networks, including the Internet (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation N 1063 dd 30.06.2021);
• in the field of civil defense (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation N 1007 dd 25.06.2021).
