Planned business inspections are canceled for eight years

Inspections will only inspect high and extremely high risk works. If a company belongs to these works it can be found on the website of Rostrud (there you can also i calculate the level of risk by yourself using an online calculator) or request information from the State Labour Inspection. The risk category is increased if:

there have been work injuries, accidents (in last 3 years);
there was wage arrears (for the last year);
sentences were made; the rights infringement of employees (in the previous 3 years).

Planned inspections can also include organizations from the approved List (Decree N 944 of November 23, 2009), irrespective of the level of risk. You can check if the company is included in the inspection plan on the website.

At the same time, instead of planned audits, inspectors can come with preventive visits, the purpose of which is to stimulate the organization to comply with the requirements of the law, to eliminate existing shortcomings and omissions. A company may refuse to visit the inspectors, unless this event is carried out instead of a canceled planned audit.

The moratorium does not apply to unscheduled and any tax inspections. Unscheduled inspections are resumed in full: for example, a labor inspector can come to any company if he receives a signal from an employee, information from the media, demands from a prosecutor or an order from the Government of the Russian Federation. Additionally, without restrictions, they check companies for military registration and conformity with migration laws.
