The IT industry is proposed to be exempt from scheduled inspections. This applies to routine inspections of Fire Supervision, Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation, the Labour Inspectorate and other organizations.
IT companies have previously expressed concern that market participants who take advantage of tax incentives will attract excessive attention from regulatory authorities.
The already existing package of measures to support the industry mainly includes tax benefits, including a reduction in social contributions for IT companies from 14 to 7.6%, income tax — from 20 to 3%, and no VAT.
The new package of measures also includes supporting the demand for IT solutions and subsidizing new developments.
