Federal Law No. 74-FZ dd 05.04.2021 on amendments to Articles 391 and 392 of the Labour Code was signed by the President and officially published.
These amendments will allow employees whose rights are violated to claim compensation for non-financial damage separately from the «main» claim. Until recently, such harm had to be declared together with a claim for violated labour rights — until the Constitutional Court ordered the courts to accept these claims, even if they were made separately.
Now the norms of the Labour Code are brought into line with the instructions of the Constitutional Court.
