The rules for paying benefits directly

The Government Decree, which regulates the specifics of assigning benefits under the system of direct payments, was published.

On December 29, the President signed Federal Law No. 428-FZ, which introduces direct payments throughout the country.


The resolution optimizes the process of providing information necessary for the appointment and payment of benefits to insured persons.

The employee must provide the information when applying for a job or during the period of their employment. This is information about the insured person, including the payment method, which is currently reflected in the application for the assignment of benefits submitted to the employer.

At the same time, in case of an insured event, the person presents to the employer only documents that the employer does not have.

Having received this information, the employer must transmit it to the Social Insurance Fund within 5 calendar days.
