Administrative responsibility for the sale of goods in social networks in the absence of state registration or license

It was proposed to consider administrative responsibility for the sale of goods in social networks in the absence of state registration or a special license.

According to article 14.1 of the Administrative Code, carrying out business activities without state registration as an individual entrepreneur or a legal entity implies a fine of 500 to 2 000 rubles.

Carrying out business activities without a special permit (license), if it is mandatory, threatens with a fine of 2 000 to 2 500 rubles for citizens, from 4 000 to 5 000 rubles for officials, from 40 000 to 50 000 rubles for legal entities. At the same time, all manufactured products must be confiscated.

In addition, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry asked to ensure the creation of a mechanism for blocking the accounts of illegal sellers of goods, works, and services by social networks in the absence of verification of the user as an individual or entrepreneur.
