The Start a Business Online experiment will allow individuals when registering as individual entrepreneurs and those who decided to create an LLC with a single founder, to quickly and conveniently open their own businesses.
It will be possible to remotely submit documents to the Federal Tax Service of Russia for state registration, issue an e-signature, and open a bank account.
On March 1, 2024, the Start a Business Online experiment starts. The Federal Tax Service of Russia coordinates it. The experiment will last until March 1, 2025.
A decree of the Government of Russia dated No.144 of 13.02.2024 approved the Regulations, which establish the procedure for experimenting with providing a comprehensive service for state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, issuing an e-signature of a legal entity and individual entrepreneurs, opening a bank account and concluding a remote banking service agreement. Individuals who register as individual entrepreneurs, as well as those who decide to create an LLC with a single founder and general director, will be able to participate in the experiment voluntarily.
The applicant must select the bank in which he will open an account, then agree to the remote issuance of an e-signature and send documents for registering a business and opening an account through the electronic services of the Federal Tax Service of Russia or the service of the bank participating in the experiment.
