From September 1, 2024, employees must sign documents only with a personal electronic signature and submit e-power of attorney in a package of electronic documents or another way.
A machine-readable power of attorney (MRA/МЧД) is an electronic power of attorney that is generated in the form of a computer-readable document. Such a power of attorney allows for automated verification of the representative’s authority. MRAs are used if a representative signs electronic documents under a power of attorney. Special requirements are imposed on such powers of attorney. In particular, they are created in XML format and signed with the organization’s qualified electronic signatures (QES).
A legal entity can issue a MRA to an individual. In this case, the MRA must be signed with the organization’s electronic signature.

- Unified form of power of attorney (version 003) — for interaction with counterparties (B2B), the Bank of Russia, Rosalkogoltobakkontrol (EGAIS), the Federal Treasury, Chestny Znak (Marking of goods and medicines), for notarization;
- Basic form of power of attorney (version 002) — for interaction with counterparties (B2B) and other government agencies;
- Power of attorney for interaction with tax authorities.
