The main thing is to formalize the reduction and notify the employees in advance.
How to do that correctly:
- issue an order on reduction of staff;
- send a message about the upcoming reduction to the Ministry of Employment (2 months before the start of the reduction);
- notify every employee with his signature (2 months before the start of the reduction);
- give a notification to the dismissed employees about vacant positions for transfer;
- if an employee refuses to be transferred, full payment is made on the last day of work, and a paper labour book or a special form of the electronic one is given.
