The employer can reduce the suspended unvaccinated employee.

If the company decided to reduce the staff, then you can even reduce an employee who was suspended because of the refusal of vaccination against COVID.

The main thing is to formalize the reduction and notify the employees in advance.

How to do that correctly:

  • issue an order on reduction of staff;
  • send a message about the upcoming reduction to the Ministry of Employment (2 months before the start of the reduction);
  • notify every employee with his signature (2 months before the start of the reduction);
  • give a notification to the dismissed employees about vacant positions for transfer;
  • if an employee refuses to be transferred, full payment is made on the last day of work, and a paper labour book or a special form of the electronic one is given.
