It is planned to introduce three new modes of stay of foreigners:
- short-term stay (no more than 90 days in total during a calendar year);
- long-term stay (over 90 days in total during a calendar year without obtaining a permanent residence permit);
- permanent residence (indefinite).
The Ministry of Internal Affairs plans to allow foreigners to get a job regardless of the main purpose of their stay. This includes operating as a self-employed person or registering as an individual entrepreneur.
But only if they pay taxes to the budget.
