The State Duma Committee on State Construction and Legislation recommended adopting a bill on fines for the sale of equipment without pre-installed Russian software.
An amendment is being made to the Code of Administrative Offences concerning the sale of certain types of technically complex goods with pre-installed programs.
According to the text, the violation of the legal requirement and sale of equipment without pre-installed programs developed in the Russian Federation or other countries of the Eurasian Economic Union entails the imposition of an administrative fine on officials in the amount of 30 thousand to 50 thousand rubles, on legal entities — from 50 thousand to 200 thousand rubles.
